We deserve Moore . . . connecting Palm Beach yesterday and today with the promise of tomorrow.
Danielle Hickox Moore has lived in Palm Beach since she was three months old, growing up with the island in a family where public service was the family business. Her mother, Lesly Smith, served on the Town Council and as Mayor. An accomplished professional and community leader in her own right, Danielle is running for a seat on the Palm Beach Town Council to make sure everyone on the island has a voice – young professionals and parents like herself as well as older residents and retirees.
As head of the Mary Alice Fortin Foundation and a long-time advocate for community causes, Danielle has earned a reputation for examining the facts, considering a wide range of opinions, and building consensus that leads to sound decision making . . . whether as chair of Palm Beach United Way, spearheading the capital campaign of the Boys and Girls club, leading the charge to save the Par 3 while chairing the Recreation Commission, or speaking up on the Planning Commission against a proposal that would bring chaos to the Town’s planning and zoning processes.
“We deserve Moore” is more than a slogan: It’s a promise of leadership that looks squarely at the issues, makes the tough decisions fairly and openly, and chooses forward movement instead of stagnation.
